Lady Lori recognises that while our new website is expected to provide a professionally useful resource of information profiling who we are, what we do and, in particular, the breadth of both our fleet of aircraft and portfolio of services, many
visitors to the site are just as fascinated with our history, our culture, and the people that make Africa what it is today. To this end, the Lady Lori website also offers you this resource of anything that we think you might find interesting; whether that be what we're up
to on a daily basis, wildlife & conservation, good causes Africa, arts & culture, or the many rich and informative books published about every aspect of African life. We very much hope that you enjoy this 'magazine' snapshot of what Africa has to offer.

A young boy runs away from a sand storm in Dagahaley Refugee Camp, Dadaab.

Dadaab is situated approximately 100 kilometers from the Somalia Ð Kenya border, is broken down into three sub-camps, Dagahaley, Ifo and Hagadera. With a population equal to that of Buffalo, New York, it is easy to understand that this, close to 290 000 person camp, is the largest refugee camp in the world. The situation now is a lot better, however it was not build to hold three times as many refugee as there are now. And with 5000 new refugees arriving every month and rumors of up to 250 000 SomaliÕs on the move fleeing the current brutal fighting in Somalia, the situation can easily get out of hand.
